Vacation Bible School 2020 official start date is July 20, 2020. This is a simple and flexible VBS program that can be used at home.

Prior to July 20 log on and download the files to confirm you have the resources needed or to request paper packets for pick up ahead of time.

Church Reopening Update

May 29th, 2020

As of May 27, 2020 all places of Worship are allowed to resume “in person” services this Sunday, May 31, 2020. There are both restrictions and requirements on how to meet and maintain a healthy and safe environment. Gary Johnson attended a meeting on Wednesday, May 27th led by Mariposa County Health officials detailing guidelines to reopening our services. The Elder’s met via Zoom Tuesday evening in anticipation of the relaxing of these restrictions. Below I have listed specific requirements we will implement beginning this Sunday. These requirements may change as we move forward and circumstances change.

ALL Services and Gatherings Suspended

Hello Family,

I’m sure everyone is aware of the seriousness of the medical emergency we are facing right now as a country, state, county, and congregation. Because of this and out of an abundance of caution the elder board has decided to move our service to a live stream only. We will have the worship/sound team and preacher at the church on Sunday morning. All others are encouraged to worship with us from your home. Our elderly population is at risk and we must do everything we can to stop the quick spread of this virus so as to not overcrowd our medical facilities. We are working on upgrading our live stream quality and adding more bible studies for all ages to help keep you fed with Gods word as we move forward. Coronavirus Update

March 14th, 2020

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ of Grace Community Church of the Sierra.

In compliance with the Mariposa County Health Officer guidelines, we the Elders, have made the decision to cancel events, other than Sunday Services, through the end of March. This would include Sunday School, AWANA, Women’s Leadership Conference and Missionary Emphasis Weekend (MEW). Sunday Services will be held for those that would like to attend, but the requirement is to keep 6 feet of social space between family groups. Others that might have compromised immune deficiencies are encouraged to worship the Lord at home.
