Bio

I grew up in a rural community of Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. My family attended a Grace Brethren Church. I came to know the Lord as a young person after hearing the gospel taught through the faithfulness of my Sunday School teachers. So, one night I knelt by my bed and asked the Lord to be my Savior. I was involved in the boy’s ministry of the church. One of my first preaching experiences I was being the speaker for my church’s boys' camp.

I felt called by the Lord to preach while at a non-denominational college. So, I changed from accounting, and I earned a BA and MA in Bible.

My wife of over 40 years, Jules, is a Northern Californian native. She agreed to marry me on the condition we live in California! We have been blessed with three children and three grandchildren.

I have spent over 30 years preaching and ministering as a pastor in two churches. My wife and I are both Precept Bible study leaders. My Passion is teaching people to understand and study the Bible for themselves.

I like to fix things and work on vehicles, and I’m an avid soccer fan of Sacramento Republic and Liverpool FC.

My life verse is Matthew 6:33. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
